Lessons and Performance Opportunities
There is no age or level limit; beginner, advanced or professional students are welcome to take lessons with NYPF faculty and to participate in the Students’ Concerts. Application fee of $150. Each student will receive certificates of participation, gifts from NYPF, and HD recording of their performance.
In order to register to perform at the students’ recital on January 15th, simply click Donate in the menu and follow instructions to complete payment.
All payments made on New York Piano Festival website are fully tax deductible. Please print out IRS 501C3 letter from our website and keep it for your records.
Each applicant must submit a video recording via an email link.
The application fee of $150 is non-refundable.
Rules and regulations
- The application fee is non-refundable. The application fee is $150. Each student will receive a certificate of participation, and a professionally recorded HD recording that can be used to upload to social media, YouTube, or Vimeo.
- Participants will have the opportunity to perform in our student concert on January 15th. In order to participate in our concert, each applicant will be required to send a recording on YouTube or Vimeo of his/her recording or take three lessons with New York Piano Festival’s faculty members. The lesson fee is $100 per hour.
- Our lessons will focus on basic approaches of technique and interpretive issues. Our goal is to supply and enhance the basic tools for piano performance, bringing the student’s talent, personality, and prior training to a harmonious blend of artistry. Lessons take place either at the teacher’s studio or the student’s home. The lesson fee is $100 per hour. There are no additional tuition or fees for the New York Piano Festival.
